The Benefits of Business Trips

At CAM Partners traveling for work is essential for networking and learning. Getting to travel allows CAM’s members the chance to learn and grow within the company. Many associates want the chance to become managers of their own team and traveling lets them see how different offices work. It also allows the team members to meet with people who are already working at a higher level.

This past week team members Taylor Sharp and Jacque Coronado got the opportunity to go on a business trip to Orlando, FL. Going on business trips allows them to learn as much as possible. Taylor and Jacque’s favorite parts of business trips are learning from people who are in positions they would like to be in some day.

Business trips are full of activities. There is a structured itinerary for most of the trip which includes meetings and training. Once Taylor and Jacque are done in the office they get to head out to promote and market for their clients. For Jacque, getting to go out is where she gets to see most of the city. “The world is our office, so I get to see parts of the city I wouldn’t see if I was just a tourist,” says Jacque.

When the work is over, Taylor and Jacque like to go hang out with other team members. “You have team building activities where you get to meet up with some of our co-workers. Usually somewhere to grab a drink or something fun like axe throwing!,” says Taylor.

Business trips allow the trainers to make connections with other business associates. Most of the time the business associates Taylor and Jacque meet become long term friends. Taylor states, “This business is truly a family and I also leave every trip with tons of phone numbers of people that tell me I can call them at any time if I have any questions at all. That is the thing I love the most about business trips!”
